Special Instructions: Reach the Coleman Dock in downtown Seattle in time to catch the 5:10 a.m. ferry in order to make it to the start on time. Ferry schedule and information: http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/schedules/current/index.cfm?route=sea-br. We start early to miss some traffic and to make most everyone can finish before dark.

Note: Free on street parking is available south of the ferry terminal on Alaska Way, or about a mile north of the ferry terminal on Elliott Ave., just north of Pier 70 (N bound lane, at the Airborne Express HQ building.) Or, ride your bike to the ferry.

Route Description: From the Bremerton Ferry Terminal we will wind our way out of Bremerton for a short trip on Hwy 3, then off onto Old Belfair Highway to Belfair. From Belfair we head south along the Hood Canal for a very flat, very scenic 20 miles on Highway 106 to Highway 101. Then north along the Hood Canal for about 30 miles to Brinnon. Then turn around and head back and wave to all your fellow riders.

There will be a manned control at around mile 40 (64 km), the control at Brinnon will be the Tesoro gas station.
