Special Instructions: This is the first official distance brevet of the year so please be prepared. Fenders are a must or you'll face the scorn and abuse of your fellow Randonneurs! This is a good time to try out lights, bags, racks, food, etc. Please note that this year's ride is earlier in the season and the probable overcast skies makes the potential for finishing in the dark much higher than in past years. ALL Riders are STRONGLY encouraged to bring a front light and are REQUIRED to have a rear light! Route Description: The perennial favorite 200 km ride and chili feed returns again in 2006. The route will be finalized in the coming weeks. The majority of the ride will be the same as last year but I am trying to avoid the jaunt out to Orting and back. I think everyone is a little tired of the less than courteous drivers in and around South Prairie. But, you can bank on a stop at Black Diamond and its famous bakery. As well as Enumclaw, Hobart, Greenwater, and a trip (or two) up your favorite Kent East Hill! End of the ride: One thing won't change this year. We will of course be hosting the famous chili feed at the end of the ride! Please join us (spouses welcome) for an end of the ride party. We will have home made chili, snacks, refreshments, etc. If you want to clean up after the ride, please bring your own towel. Last Updated 03.06.06
