Special Instructions: This is the first official distance brevet of the year so please be prepared. Fenders are a must or you'll face the scorn and abuse of your fellow Randonneurs! This is a good time to try out lights, bags, racks, food, etc. Please note that this year's ride is earlier in the season and the probable overcast skies makes the potential for finishing in the dark much higher than in past years. ALL Riders are STRONGLY encouraged to bring a front light and are REQUIRED to have a rear light!

Route Description: The perennial favorite 200 km ride and chili feed returns again in 2004 with a brand new route. Start the morning with a brisk jaunt to Black Diamond and its famous bakery. From the bakery, the ride travels out to Hobart and then to Ennumclaw. From Ennumclaw the ride travels out to Greenwater on  410.  Wave to the other riders as you descend 410 to Mud Mt. Dam.  The route then takes you to Carbonato and Orting before sending back to Kent.

End of the ride: Please join us (spouses welcome) for an end of the ride party. We will have home made chili, snacks, refreshments, etc. If you want to clean up after the ride, please bring your own towel.
